As Jose Mourinho nears his 100th game in charge of Manchester United, take a look back at his Old Trafford journey the past few years.

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho wants to keep Daley Blind until the end of the season despite interest from Roma, according to the Dutchman’s father Danny Blind.

Blind has been linked with a deadline day move to Italy after being restricted to just three Premier League starts so far this season.

The 27-year-old has not travelled to London for Wednesday night’s clash with Tottenham at Wembley while he continues his recovery from an ankle ligament injury.

“Time is running out because it’s the last day of the transfer window,” Blind Sr told LaRoma24.

“Yes, I can confirm that Roma want him but Manchester United don’t want to let him go on loan, only on a permanent basis.

“They don’t want to sell him now, only in the summer. The price is good, but the operation is difficult.”

Daley Blind has made 83 appearances for Manchester United.

After signing Alexis Sanchez from Arsenal in exchange for Henrikh Mkhitaryan and allowing Axel Tuanzebe join Aston Villa on loan, Jose Mourinho insisted there would be no more transfer business this month.

And sources have told ESPN FC he would be reluctant to let Blind go with Tuanzebe already departed and Eric Bailly still sidelined with an ankle injury.

Blind Sr said: “It’s really difficult because Manchester United want to keep him to play in the Champions League, the Premier League and the FA Cup.

“The group is very united and they want him to stay. Italy would be an interesting choice for him, but Manchester United is a huge club that doesn’t need to sell players and doesn’t need the money.

“Mourinho wants to keep this group together. Maybe if we had a few days, a week perhaps, but we’ve only got a few hours. It’s really very difficult.”
